Structures: Heavy-duty shelves are assembled by columns, beams, braces, diagonal braces and self-locking bolts. The structure is simple and stable. The safety pins equipped at the connection between the studs and the studs can also ensure that the beams do not fall off under the impact of external forces. The preferred material for cross beams is high quality square steel with special cold-rolled P-shaped closed beams. The design of columns determines the randomness and flexibility of inventory.
Height determination: The type, specification and size of pallets, the weight of single pallet and stack height (usually less than 2000 kg), and the span, depth and spacing of unit shelves are determined. Finally, the height of the shelves is determined according to the effective height of the lower edge of the warehouse roof and the maximum forklift height of the forklift truck. Generally, the span of heavy shelves is less than 4m, the depth is less than 1.5m, the shelf height of low and high warehouses is less than 12m, and the shelf height of super high warehouses is less than 30m (most of these warehouses are automated warehouses, and the total height of the system is composed of several columns within 12m).
Forklift truck selection: Forklift truck, balance battery forklift truck and three-way forklift truck are mostly suitable for access operations in low and high warehouses. Electric stacker is available when the system is relatively low, while stacker is generally used for access operations in high warehouses.
Advantages: Heavy shelves are mainly used for cardboard storage, with large carrying capacity, high space utilization, flexible access and convenient, supplemented by computer management or control, and can basically meet the requirements of modern logistics system. It is not only suitable for multi-variety and small-batch goods, but also suitable for small-variety and large-batch goods.
