1. Introduction of Steel Platform Products
Steel structure platforms usually build a two-or three-storey fully assembled steel structure platform on the existing workshop site, which changes the workshop space from one layer to two or three layers, so that the upper space of the workshop can be fully utilized. This demand is called workshop adding layer by users. Steel platform has a relatively large load-bearing capacity, usually 500 KG per square metre. Therefore, the goods are delivered by forklift trucks to the steel structure two or three platforms, and then transported by hydraulic trucks to designated locations. There are also customers who design the steel platform as assembly line, assembly or storage space. The column spacing of steel platform is within 3M ~ 5M, and the floor height can be customized according to the customer's needs and the actual situation of the workshop.
2. Classification of steel platforms: According to the use requirements, they can be divided into indoor and outdoor platforms, platforms bearing static and dynamic loads, production assistant platforms, and medium and heavy operation platforms.
According to the different ways of bearing treatment, the platform structure can also be divided into:
1) Platform directly placed on the triangular frame or bracket of the workshop column, which usually functions as a channel or as a simple medium-sized operation platform.
2) Platform with independent columns on one side and factory building columns or building walls on the other.
3) Platform supported on large equipment.
4) All platforms are independent.
3. Layout of steel platform:
1. To meet the requirements of process operation and ensure the clearance of passage and operation. Generally, the net height of traffic should not be less than 1.8M. Protective railings should be installed around the platform, and the height of railings should be 1M. When the height of the platform is greater than 2M, a kickboard with a height of 100-150mm should be set up under the protective railing. The platform should be equipped with ladders for upper and lower passage, and the width of ladders should not be less than 600 mm.

In determining the plane size, elevation, girder grid and column network layout of the platform structure, besides meeting the requirements of use, the location of equipment load and other large concentrated loads on the platform and the hanging of large-diameter industrial pipelines should also be taken into account in the layout of the beams and columns.
3. The layout of platform structure should be economical and reasonable, and the transmission of force should be direct and clear. The arrangement of the grillage should be compatible with its span. When the span of the beam is large, the spacing should also be increased. Making full use of the allowable span of the paving board and arranging the beam lattice reasonably can achieve better economic results.
